Probation revoked, parole elible in 6 months: Will he be transferred?
My LOs probation was revoked and he was sentences to serve the reminder of his time incarcerated. His Kool sheet always had a PID number. Now it has a DOC number. Classification says unassigned. He's still at the local county jail. I'm just trying to find work it if he's likely gonna have to go serve somewhere else or not. He's parole eligible in about 6 mos. Should be. Getting ahold of his Public Pretnder is a joke. Literally, u call the Hazard offoce and get a sarcastic voice message that wishes you good life xk getting ahold of an actual person. So we can't get any info. Thanks for any help
Hi HisQuinn0922 I'm glad you found us There is no way to predict whether or not your son will be transferred. He may, and he may not, depending on if they need his bed and/or another facility needs to fill one. He could be sent to another county facility as a State inmate and for no apparent reason. (heaven forbid he be sent to Fulton County!) The DOC often moves in mysterious ways.
His probation has been revoked and he has been sentenced so he is now a state inmate. Representation stops at sentencing so contacting the DPA office is not an option. DOC will calculate his time and determine his parole eligibility. DPA has nothing to do with that. KOOL will be updated when DOC completes their audit of his time.
