Howdy and Welcome to PTO!! My hubby didn't do the key to life program at Keys but he was at Keys for awhile. He told me that "The Key to LIfe" program up there is the best in Oklahoma. It lasts like a year and IF the inmate is really wanting to change is life this program will for sure help them... Course bottom line its all up to the person.
Good Luck Its a great program...
My honey is in the KTL program, he said it is all a bunch of bull right now, he has been in class for almost a month. He said the classe are supposed to last about an hour. He has never been in there 10 minutes. What a joke. But I have Faith, that he will get something out of these classes. And he will come out a changed man. I pray for him every night.

If it is anything like the Therapeutic Community drug program, it takes a while for things to get rolling. My son in law took the TC & said that it was very juvenile at first. Then as he began to work through the program, it began to make sense. He learned how to deal with anger & make much better choices. He also learned about being accountable for your actions. He has said that God and the drug program have made all of the difference in his life. Hang in there and keep praying!!!
He has to send you a form to complete, you will return it to the facility and they will run a back ground check on it and then either approve you disapprove the request
You do not have to wait for him to send you the forms here are the links for DOC policy on visitaion and the second link is the actual form for visitation. Just fill it out and send it to his facility, just make sure that you put his name and DOC number on it and send it to his case manager or counselor. You may have to call to find out who they are. if you need anything else PM me!!!
