Has anyone visited Warm Springs CC in Nevada lately?
Hi ,I am looking for some information about visiting warm springs correctional centre.
Do you need quarters for the vending machines?
Are the inmates already in the visiting room when you go in?
What time should you arrive for a morning visit?
Do you line up or just go in?
I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you , I have a close friend visiting there in a few weeks and she is very nervous. That information will help a lot, prisons can be very daunting places.
Your friend has most likely already had a wonderful visit to Warm Springs but maybe someone else can make use of this information. I've just come back from visiting there and it's a nice, smaller place. You line up outside the gate at 7.45 am for mornings and 11.45 am for noon visits. You sign in on a form, then fill out "a permission to search" (only pat down). The C/O's are friendly and helpful, the inmates get let in after the visitors arrive. There are vending machines with food and soda/water. There are cards, games, paper and pens for children to draw etc. There's microwave ovens to heat the food from the vending machines. Regarding dress code, nothing blue of any shade or colour, no denim at all. Just conservative dressing, nothing to0 tight, too short or inappropriate. Just in case, you might want to bring some extra clothing and leave it in your car. I visited 3 weekends in a row and only saw one person sent out to the car to find a change of blouse because the one she was wearing looked blue. Good luck, enjoy, TC and GB.
