Hi, new here.
I'm sorry to just jump in here and ask without really looking around the other forums. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about Rockingham county jail?
A friend was sent there recently and I'm worried about him.
What's it like there? Meals? Any activities? Any fights among prosoners?
First, let me welcome you to PTO and the NH forum. I'm sorry that no one has responded to your post yet. I'm afraid I know very little about the Rockingham facility. I think meals are pretty standard everywhere - they suck. There's not much that can be done about that except to eat out of the commissary and that's just junk food. I think someone else who just joined this forum mentioned that their son had been at the Rockingham facility.
While you are waiting for a response, if you find any information from your friend please feel free to share it here so that the next person that comes here looking for information about the Rockingham County Jail will have an easier time at finding the information readily available.
Hi Numbhangle, Just Want To Let You Know That Brentwood Is A Breeze, Unless Your Detoxing From Drugs. As Far As Safety Its Not A Dangerous Place, Unless Your A Punk With A Mouth. If Your Friend Is There Sentenced You Don't Have To Worry. I Spent Most Of My Time Pre-sentenced And It Tends To Be A Little More Chaotic. Again As Long As He Doesn't Run His Mouth Everything Will Be Fine. Most Of The Programs 4 Selfhelp R 1st Come Up 2 Ten Per Block. Besides Pingpong Or Lifting Thers Not Much Except Cards/gambling. I Hope This Will Help, Any Other Questions Let Me Know.
my boyfriend is currently at rockingham for multiple driving after suspension charge...and he says its horrific in terms of conditions the air quality cleanliness health not any programs from what i gather.. strafford is definitely better cleaner nicer newer....there was a scabies outbreak recently at rockingham. i wish i knew the proper person to voice complains to.
brentwood is a country club compared to concord..hopefully ur loved one is sentenced there and wont end up in concord or berlin...concord currently has no programs and are overcrowded and understaffed so inmates are not making there minimum parole dates because of the lack of programs...this is a huge issue and is deff not fair...i just consulted with a lawyer for my son and he thinks we may have a law suit because of the lack of due process and the doc assigning extra programs to inmates not mandated by the court and this is what is holding them back from moving through the system. the doc gets money for each inmate that participates in a doc recommended/required program??? sounds like another way for the doc to make money to me
