My husband has a SCHEDULED home visit with his Parole Officer next week - but today someone WHO WAS NOT his PO came to the house saying he was there for a random drug test - This is in Indianapolis - Marion county - anyone ever had this happen????
I'm not in your state but I always thought random surprise visits were normal while on parole. My man has been on parole for years and he would have surprise visits regularly and Random drug tests. It's just the nature of being on parole

Chloe my son had probation not parole but a friend had parole. For the friend he had to do regular drug tests but no one ever showed up at the home. He didn't pay extra for the drug tests they were done right at the parole office. My son would have to do a random drug test and had to pay $10 each time he went in for one . He had to go to the city County building and no one ever showed up at the house. For the probation he had to sign a paper that he understood they could. The parole office was easier for the friend than probation was for my son. (I am in Indianapolis as well)
