Default Once done w/85% will he be released if he takes classes/gets good time?

Hello everyone I had a question once my hubby has done his 85% will he be released if he takes classes and gets good time for them or does he still have to go up to the parole board thank everyone in advanced

He starts getting his good time after hitting 85%, I know one guy who hit his 85% and had to take a witness class or something and when he completed that he can leave. He went for parole and passed both stages. So he should get out very soon.

so to be released from prison they have to go before the parole board, their not just let go as time served?

Welp no ,maybe not now, the new law hit Nov 1st, they will bank good days, and if I'm clear, when they hit 85% mark, and there credit earned they could come home that day.

When I spoke to Raymond case worker, she said he will be released at 85% and not a day later. She said due to over crowding they can't hold them longer than that. If that helps at all.

Adding to the over crowding Pats case manager has strongly suggest, we get a computation lawyer and attempt this. We did that and are hoping to start this year with it. Praying for good news it's a long shot but we are hoping with case manager support and his record it will happen.
