Default Another classification question

What does MX stand for in classification MX GP? I believe the person I am asking about (my children's father) is in Fayette County Jail (I don't live in KY and don't know anything about the state) and I read in other threads that an inmate doesn't get classified in county jail? This abbreviation is under classification for him when I did an inmate search. Thanks!

That particular classification is for that particular jail as in where they are housed in that jail. It means nothing regarding state inmate classification.

I'm not sure about the MX (mix maybe?) but the GP is general population. So he's not in segregation. The MX could be a wing in the jail too.

It also determines who gets visits and when at that jail.
