Pennsylvania Visitation, Prison Phones, Packages & MailTopics / Information relating to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and local / county Jail visitation, phone calls, mail, inmate care packages, etc.
Hello, if anyone could give me any information I would be forever grateful. My boyfriend was transferred from county to Camp Hill 3.5 weeks ago. In a letter he told me that I could email him. I set the account up fine with GTL and sent him three emails. I never got a response so I called Camp Hill and they said he is not able to respond via email but only through snail mail. Is this true for all PA DOC's (they can't respond via email)? Also does he need a tablet to respond if he is able to respond via email? And how does he buy credits to send emails? I would also love any information I left out that I needed. I am very new to this. Thank you!
Follow up, I was able to receive the answer! Inmate who are permanently housed at Camp Hill are able to send and receive emails. If they are there only for classification they can not send emails. I hope this helps someone!
