Default How am I going to send him his book and his calendar?

Hello I am hoping this is in the right place. My guy is at ECI in Westover and I have sent him a book from Amazon and the facility signed for it and then REJECTED it. I have been told Barnes and Noble is the approved vendor to send and I have been in touch with them and THEY won't let me place my order as ECI does not accept packages from a courier....So here i sit...How the heck am i going to get him his book and his calendar? Has anyone had issues or can tell me how i can get this sent to him?

Was the calendar in the same package? I do know that atleast some prisons do not permit calendars. Don't know how it is there.

Make sure you check what he can and can not have. You might try Walmart... Also, in some states, if it comes from a third party vender, they won't accept it. I send my husband books from books a million.

Hello and thank you for your input. He is allowed to receive calendars. I am allowed to even purchase 1 and send by regular mail i just thought it would be easier to send with the book he would like to read. It isn't third party and nor was the book sent from Amazon. Came direct from Amazon. He said Barnes and Noble. Now i am having an issue with them and getting my order out to him. I haven't been able to even place the order.....

No... Mine is in Arizona... But they are pretty strict. Some things are pretty common state to state.

Maybe he couldn't have the calendar... Maybe it was from a third party vender... Maybe they didn't have a packing slip.

I haven't sent the calendar yet...Barnes and Noble won't let me place the order because it cannot be delivered by courier. Has to be usps. No third party vendors.

I have a membership through Barnes and Noble and when you add his address to ship you write his inmate number after his last name. Put the P.O. Box as his address and at the very bottom it will have a box you can check stating address is a PO Box or can't receive mail from UPS. The warehouse will ship the book using UPS Mail Innovations which will get the books there within a couple days and then transfer to regular mail.
