Default Medical Marijuana and Probation

As of now I have read of a house bill in Colorado that has allowed medical marijuana while on probation or parole. Does anyone have any experience being allowed to use medical marijuana while on probation? I know the PO has to agree to it, but if you have a doctors recommendation how likely will the PO not agree to it?

Up to now, the POs have said that anything that violates Federal laws is not permissible. I can't imagine it will improve with President Trump.

Thats what I have heard, but in 2015 hb 15 1267 states:
HB 15-1267 is a Colorado law that became effective on May 8, 2015, which allows individuals with Medical Marijuana Registry Cards to use medical marijuana (MMJ) while on probation. While there is a couple of exceptions, the new law specifically states: “the possession or use of medical marijuana as authorized pursuant to…the State Constitution, shall not be considered another offense such that it constitutes a violation of the terms of probation.”

I also read that if you are on probation for a mmj offense then you are disqualified as well as it is up to the PO's I just wonder how many PO's actually deny a med card for a valid reason as long as you are not on probation for a mmj offense.

What has YOUR supervising officer told you? And how long had you been issued a card prior to your offense of record?

It's not any doctor that prescribes marijuana. Only certain doctors.
