Hello. I have been writing Mario for nearly a year now. @mammastalking: can you explain your last post, what does it mean?? Mario told me he'd receive news this week. But since I am overseas his letters take a while to get here.
I'm expecting it's not good...

The US Supreme Ct will neither hear his appeal nor will they send it back to a lower court for review. So it isn't good news. But his lawyer probably have more to file. So there is still hope. Hang in there. I'm glad found us.

hello all
ive posted on her under a differant name in the past.
ive known Mario for 3 1/2 years, i started writting to him after Kevin M Watts was executed, they knew each other. this whole situation is so sad, i havnt heard from him in nearly 5 weeks but in his lat letter he sounded positive and strong in his faith, im sure that will carry him and his family through these next few hours.

I sent Mario a letter a couple of weeks ago . .. it's hard to write to someone who is facing something that is so inhumane. I HATE this part of our "legal" system. Mario has been on my mind all day. Praying for him, and all who know him. Praying for peace and courage.

hello everybody. I am writing from Italy and have been exchanging letters with Mario for roughly over one year. He sent me a card in which he thanked me for my support, I received it this morning which is the day of his murder.I feel so bad about all this, he is my very first pen inmate in my whole life. Many times, I wonder why I came accross such a choice and I don't know the answer ye, I promise myself I will never and never do it again, but I know I'll look for another pen friend again.I am thinking about him, his mother and friends all day since I knew he lost his latest appeal.I am praing the mighty Lord in order to give him and his family strenght and faith to get through all this.
'We will see, won't we?' that's what he wrote to me in his very last letter, but I still wanto to hope something good will happen for him even though just a few hours have left. Please join in praying for all this cruelty...

Speaking of stays, I heard that Hubert Michael of Pennsylvania got a stay of execution day. Sadly, it does not look like Mario will be so lucky...

I like to stay positive but it isn't looking good for Mario. His lawyers are out of ideas. My thoughts are with his friends and loved ones, as well as Mario.
