Default Question regarding release date.

I have a friend whos current release date is 2/2021. I know this will change as time goes by. He also has 319 days credited for time served in county prior to sentencing.

My question: Are the 319 days already factored in to the current release date or would it be the current release date minus the time credited (2/2021 - 319 days). If its not then his release date would be around 4/2020.

Thank you.

Someone would need the full sentencing, ie. How many years, to determine the calculation.

Is the curent release date from the DOC website? If so, then it does include the time served.

Yes, if it is from the DOC site then they have already factored in this "time served" into his release date. When he gets his monthly reviews, they will update the site and you will be able to see his new date. For me, it is normally the 10th of the month and I get to see the dates "fall off". lol I know it is weird, but gives me something to look forward to.
