Arrow Absconding from parole

Hello, I wanted to see if anyone can answer this for me. My bf was finishing up in a halfway house but he abscounded. He got caught on the greyhound bus but has no new charges against him. Will he only have to do the time he had before he abscounded or will he have to do the full time he had. I think they gave him originally 3-5yrs. He did the 3 and was put in the halfway. He had 6mths left to finish but he said because he didn't report a fight that was caught on camera they said they were sending him back to prison. So he left. I heard that PA system of doing things are very dirty and wicked. If anyone can give me any info it would be greatly appreciated. Oh, he was in SCI Albion, but they just transferred him to Rockview. He's been back in since July 2010

I'll presume he was on parole while in the halfway house. That would make him an absconder. (Leaving the halfway house while on pre-release constitutes an escape.)

He gets credit for the time prior to absconding; from the moment the Board declared him an absconder, the clock on his sentence stopped and the Board will add it to his max date.

So Bobble does that mean he will have to finish out the 2yrs, plus whatever they add on for him absonding. That's (absconding) not considered a pv?

The Board can max him out if they choose. The time he spent as an absconder gets added to his max date.
