Maryland probation violation question

I am currently on probate for my second DUI in Maryland six months ago I served 18 days of a 60 days sentence and I have a possible positive drug test. I am awaiting my monthly vist with my probation officer and there is a possibility of a positive test for marijuana. I have had no other charges or issues with my probation and have completed everything else. It was a one time thing it just happened that I got a random test the day after I smoked. I am clean now back in AA and support classes I was just wondering what advice there is for me and any one with experience with probation violations in Maryland particularly Harford county? Also would my PO contact me when they get the results for the test of it is positive or have a warrant issued or would they wait until I come to my next scheduled reporting date. Thank you

Your probation officer will likely just send a report in to the judge stating that you had a dirty urine and then the judge will decide whether to violate you or not. You can look up your case on the Maryland Judiciary website..just google "Maryland Judiciary Case Search." If you're on probation, the case status should say "inactive," however, if the judge decides to violate you, the case status will change to "active." Your probation officer probably will not notify you of the dirty urine but if you had only smoked the day before, you already know it was dirty.

Thanks that helps. I have checked case search and there was no change, it has been three weeks and I see my PO next week and have not heard anything from here I do an electronic check in every week I do not see her and nothing has been brought to my attention. I did drink one of those drinks so there is a slim chance it worked and I did not test positive but I am not counting on that. Thanks again for the information.
