Default I need help with ideas on activities to send an inmate :)

My father was wanting me to send him some activities to do in prison and I've sort of hit a wall and run out of things to do. I was hoping maybe someone on here could help me. I've sent him word finds, mazes, how to draw, oragami and yoga poses. We aren't allowed to send him anything other than paper. I was thinking of sending him pages from a book but I'm not sure if I should.

Mia gave you a good pointer. I just moved your thread from Parents with Children in Prison over to Adult Children and Siblings of Inmates.

Hope you find some good ideas there!

Can he get anything from like amazon or something? There are books to read, coloring books and like a lot of books of puzzles. I print stuff for 8 girls but sometimes ordering a book for them gets them excited but also provides more than I can find for free online.

Hi you could try sending him some magazines, from https://rewardsurvey.com/ you need to sign up and complete their short surveys you are then rewarded with points each completed survey. These points can then buy magazine subscriptions on the site. They have some good ones sports illustrated, espn, time, people and entertainment magazine.

Its worthwhile and they do turn up my friends get them all and enjoy reading them and passing them on.

You might be able to get away with buying a book of puzzles/entertainment for yourself, then photocopying and sending one page at a time.

Or retyping a book and sending it to him X pages at a time. That would be quite a project, but possibly do-able.
