You don't need to know the ID, just a last name. You can also put in either first name or first initial. So since he's your friend, just put in first name and last name and the rest will show up.

You can search the database with a first or last name, note that if it's a common name and there are more than 500 offenders with that name, it's helpful to enter at least the first two letters to narrow down the options.

GTL/Connect Network provides email services. You have to set up an account and they have access through the kiosk in the dorms.

Go to User CP and then settings. Look for notifications. You should already be getting emails so make sure you check your junk email.

No I haven't hun, I don't know what to do. All this stuff is new to me and I'm getting upset. I miss him so much and I want him to know that. I D want to give up on him. Do you know anyone named Antwon? By the way he's from Dillon and has been there about a month.

No, there isn't.

Does your friend's name not come up in the SC inmate locator (the links that people have provided for you here) ?

Do you know his last name too so that you are able to search with both first name and last name?

Have you tried looking him up on VINELink? www.vinelink.com - you do not need to know his location when you seek him on Vinelink; if you enter his first and last name it should bring him up and show you the facility he's at. Hitting the "more details" button will show you his inmate ID number.

With SCDC searches, it's important to know the county the crime was committed in, not where they're from. The search allows for phonetic matches but the number of offenders that will come up is tremendous. You can find anyone with a first or last name, especially if it's a common name, then you will need both. His name can also be spelled different ways, so if you don't know his last name, you're back at square one.

Are you sure he was sent to state prison?

I'm not sure what you are looking for here.

We gave you the link to look for him in the South Carolina prison system, where you said he is. There are 7 men in the system with that same first name. You will have to see which one he is and if you want to talk to him, you will have to write him a letter and send it to him at the prison.

No one here knows him nor can we contact him for you. He is not allowed to have internet access so he won't see anything here.

Look at the link, find him, write him a letter and mail it to him at the prison he's housed in.

I found more than that comparing the different ways his name could be spelled and none came up as having been admitted to SCDC during the last month. Many have been there for 60 days to a few years.

As Sass has stated, it's better for you to do the research using the means provided. Best wishes.
