Hi LyndonBee and LGG 1986. I'm sorry you both needed us but am glad you found us.
The first stage of the process (jail, sentencing, moving to prison) is ungodly difficult for everyone who continues to stay involved. It can make you feel like you're losing your mind. You're not. Just so you know.
When it's someone you're very close to or have a strong bond with, it can feel like your world has been turned inside out. That part is true. There is a saying -- The family serves the sentence too. You will be serving the sentence also, but from the outside.
Feel free to poke around all of the PTO forums. There are a variety of forums where specific information can be sought. No matter what the crimes of your respective brothers, people here will be supportive and offer as much assistance as they can.
My heart goes out to both of you, but it is not the end of the world. Eventually you will settle into a "new normal." Keeping hanging in there - you're both still in the absolute worst part of things right now.
