Getting in touch with a counselor is not always easy. Sometimes it is impossible. What exactly would you need to contact a counselor for? Maybe I can help you with some info?

I have always had great luck with calling CIW , call the general number and asking directly for him or her. Be direct ..
Don't tell em who you are unless they ask, immediately after they answer the phone, go into 'Yes May I speak to Correctional Counselor Smith" .....works every time!!!

Good luck...

Usually if you contact the records department you can ask for your love ones counselor. If that doesnt work try contacting the wardens office.

I've been calling cim now for a week no one answers the phone there. Not even the operator trying to fax a paper to my nephews counselor. Is there any others phone numbers for cim

I retired from CIM as a Counselor in 2007. It is VERY difficult to reach your loved one's counselor BECAUSE they don't have a computer tracking system that allows records staff to punch in your family member's name& number to see who their counselor is. The CC-II assigns inmate C-Files everyday. We never knew who we would get. I got assigned inmates with the last two prison number say from 70 to 80. No names just numbers. So, I'd get a call from a parent, wife, son, etc asking me if I was their loved one's counselor, and I would have to say I'd check & get back with them. That meant I'd have to look through ALL my files to see if he was there. Very crude and inefficient system. I doubt if it's improved since I left. But, here are some numbers that were active when I left. Sorry! Best I can do: Records information: Msf=x4068/4069 Rcw=x5564 Rcc=x6056/6057 East=x5054 CC-II's East=x7281 West=x7181 Rcc=x7263 Msf=x4462. Good luck. Boy, I don't miss it!

I now see why this thread came about. My husband was transferred there a month ago and has been trying to see a counselor to do his parole plans. I finally reached out to CC2 Supervisor via email he told me to have my husband see him (put in request) so hopefully he can help. But he was told that Cleavland Hall does not have counselor for that building. So sad to send all of those inmates there with no counselors. I do that the email directory if anyone needs it

Wow this is the worst facility my husband has ever been in. The only time they answered it seemed like they just did it so that they wouldn't hear the phone ring anymore I could hear 2 ladies and a man talking and listening to music how unprofessional. They need to do their job
