Hello,
My son will be released this Friday 1-11-13. I have to see when he will be let out and so far no one has answered the phone. I will be driving 9-10 hours to pick him up and I hope they can let him out in the morning. Can you please tell me the procedure?
Thank you, Elizss

I don't know the procedure (yet) cause my husband is obviously still incarcerated. However I've seen inmates getting released on weekends.
Pretty simple..
Have you ever visited? If you have, then you wait would wait in the same area as you wait to get processed for visiting. Someone will step outside to get you to sign and confirm who you are there for. Once he's processed and done with, he will come out.. Hugs kisses and off you go..
I've seen Inamtes come out between 8:30-10:00 o'clock. There's really no set time, so just show up in the early AM and wait, he should be out in the morning hours.

Keep calling all day today, I'm sure someone will eventually pick up.

My husband gets out in 25 days I have already sent his dress outs I know I wait in the parking lot for him. How early should I get there? And will they be running my name for anything? I do have a restraining order on him but we have worked things out. Do you think they won't release him to me?

They don't run your name or anything. If memory serves me correctly they start releasing around 10 am

I just asked the CO's my last visit they said to go to the gate at 7:00am and see if they are on the list and let them know you are there to pick up. Then wait around they will be released after around 8am

Does anyone know the earliest dress outs can be sent? We are at 38 days left and I know it takes a few days to get to the facility

It should say it in the dress out form. Do you have one of those? I don't remember if its 30 or 60 days.

No more than 30 days to the house. For example, the last time my husband got out, his release date was June 9th so I sent his dressouts on May 9th and he got them just fine. If they arrive more than 30 days before they are released, they might send them back.

Hope that helps

Congrats on the homecoming

What gate are the release done at? Is it the area where we go in for processing visits? I see there is a little gated area to the left of the doors where you go in for visiting. Is that it?

Yep that's it. Check in with the guard there and then you get the fun part of waiting. Congratulations.

Hmmmmm I guess you could call and see if they will tell you. I just hoped and prayed that my hubby would get them when it was time to go. I am almost certain that if they made it to the prison, they will get to the right place and he will get them. Did you order them through a website of did you buy and send them yourself?

Yaaayyy 12 days!!! Congrats!

I sent my hubby his dress outs today from the post office flat rate box , the lady at the post office said it will get there tomorrow ! It was only $12 and they track it ! So they can't say they didn't receive it ! I pick up my hubby on the 26th , I can't wait it's been 3 long years without him ! He gets out on a sat does anyone know what time I have to be there ? Praise God he just got moved to chino a few months ago , he was almost 4 hours away , now he's only 45 min away ! That is a huge blessing ! Do I go in to where I check into visit him , is that where I pick him up ? Can anyone tell me if I have to dress a certain way or can I dress normal ? And at what time do I got to be there ? And what time do they release him ? Thanks for any info !!!

Congratulations!!! You can wear what ever you want to wear. No more dress code!!!!! I think I got there around 8. Since you are picking him up on sat you can't enter the parking lot before a certain time. Gosh it's been so long since my husband has been in I don't remember what time the lot opens. The time they release varies. Go to the little gate to the left of where you go to visit to check in. Then you get to wait. Congrats again.

I am going in 9 days to pick up my husband and was told to go there at 7am to check in and let the office know that I am there to pick him up. Then just wait can be released anytime after 8am but most people say close to 10is do not leave or he will have to go to bus if you are not seen by him. I am going to sit on the bench and camp until my husband walks out of the gate hope this helps
