Welcome to Prison Talk. Be sure to check out the Ohio forums for information about their prison system. I know how difficult it is when someone you love is in prison, and so do many of our other members. You will find help and support here.

Hello and Welcome !!

I am from OHIO myself ... sure I do not have anyone in JAIL, PRISON. But I do know how it feels to have a LOVED ONE in JAIL ... this past weekend my daughter's fiance was in JAIL an I must tell you that was the longest 48 1/2 hours ever to watch my daughter NOT able to sleep well knowing that her sweetheart was in JAIL.

Then ... on Monday we went down to the COURT HOUSE to wait for him to be released it was a LONG DAY for sure ... lots of TEARS were shed and lots of prayers were said ... and finally he was released ... so we looked for him up and down the street till finally I spotted a orange shirt that I had given to him last summer ... and it was like a scene out of a movie to watch them run into each other's arms and share a kiss. And, so I NEVER want to see that happen ever again.

So, what I am telling you is to stay strong ... keep a journal of the time and keep yourself busy. Do something write him a long letter and just do something.

I also want to open the door to you for a friend ... If your wanting a friend I am there for you ... feel free to write or vent ... I want to be there for you. If your wondering what my future son in law is ... He is a registered sex offender and has serve his time ... so I am not embarrassed to share that but I have forgiven him for his past mistakes and he has moved on & we are there for him !!

So keep your chin up and I will be waiting to hear back from you.
