Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hi I'm new to this site and to all of this. My husband was senteced to have a present ending evaluation, diagnosis and classification. He is being held at western regional waiting to be transferred. Will I ever know where he would be going? How long does it usually take for a transfer?

Heyyy Welcome to PTO well I'm not to sure what a present ending evaluation, diagnosis and classification is but for the most part if he just got sentenced they can move him anywhere from 2 days to a week depending on space at the prison he'll be going to and you wont know where hes going but you can find out where he is after they process him at another prison they should update there website after a couple of days so keep checking back on there or you should recieve a letter from your Loved One if he has paper envelope and stamp but if not it should pop up if you click this link and type in his information: http://www.wvdoc.com/wvdoc/OffenderS...7/Default.aspx

No he hasn't been sentenced yet. The judge wants him to do an evaluation before he sentences him. My husband was in the army and had just got back from Afghanistan he had a terrible flash back and completely tore up a tanning salon. He didn't steal anything or hurt anyone. So because his case is so out of the ordinary they want him evaluated but nothing has been done.

Didn't realize by that it had been so long since I had checked in to this forum. Hopefully by now your husband has been transferred to the Anthony Correctional Center which is where male adult offenders are sent for their 60 to 90 day evaluation before sentencing. It sounds like there are special circumstances behind his crime, and I really do hope that the prosecutor and judge take that into consideration.
