Default Brazilian wax.

Hey ladies! So quick question I'm considering getting a Brazilian wax done soon at my job for the first time and I am super nervous! Shaving for me isn't such a success because it literally grows back in hours. So I've been researching online and the best solution is waxing. I would love to hear first time experiences with this and how often you go?

I know my bf would love this when he comes home lol my hair isn't so bad but I'm tired of razor bumps and such.

I love getting a brazilian. It hurts but I personally don't find it that terrible. But it does make you way more sensitive down there.

I would have it done all the time but it gets expensive.

For me at least, it doesn't hurt as bad as getting my legs waxed - I usually just shave my legs (the hair there doesn't grow very fast anyway) but I get the "downstairs" a brazilian once in awhile. It's best if you go every 4-6 weeks, after awhile the hairs stop being so coarse so it stops hurting almost.

Oh and if you can, try to go to a place where they use chocolate wax with oil - that's the best. The oil prevents the wax from sticking to your skin and the chocolate grabs only the hair.

Just have an ibuprofen an hour before and you will be fine
After you try this you don't want to go back to shaving.... I really loathe how coarse the hair gets after the razor, it's much better after waxing.

that is so true! once you begin getting brazilians done, don't go back to shaving! And make sure you exfoliate every day (with one of those mits) it will cut down significantly on ingrown hairs. Also, make sure the salon only use the wax sticks one time! That means they use a new stick each time they put wax on you. As well, if they use new towels, or new paper (the kind found at doctors offices) after each client, that is a bonus. For me, cleanliness is at the top of the list when going to a salon to get a brazilian done. Pain is different for each person but personally, the more I get it done, the less it hurts. Hope that helps a lil bit!
