This post was a breath of fresh air regarding the march. I understood the importance of the march but a few of my coworkers thought that was the worse thing we could spend our time doing as women because we have jobs, can get education and make many other choices, we have to get up and out and do so Well, I told them they needed to understand that if they stepped outside of the comfort of their princess shells, they'd see many of us are still fighting for chance.

The March really stood up for a variety of grievances: The proposed defunding of Planned Parenthood (our bodies, our choice), women's right in general (the right to NOT have private parts grabbed), civil rights, immigrant rights, Muslim rights, Human Rights, repeal of ACA. Anti-Trump inasmuch as his proposed / enacted policies are offensive and unconstitutional. He's a bigot, a racist, a misogynist and is apparently mentally unbalanced. JMHO.
I know that the three women they interviewed on my local radio station talked or tried to push that the March was about rights, not so much an Anti-Trump march.
Hard not to combine the two trains of thought but I liked that they were trying to make it about rights for women.
Hope all those women who were able to participate are registered voters.
The host of the station was interesting in his *take* He went to DC with his family to march with women.
Hes sort of an odd duck in that he originally was not going to vote for Clinton but after that video of Trump talking about grabbing women......he changed his mind. He was not for Clinton, but very much against Trump and his mind set.
(such as it is)
I'd agree Patch. I seriously think the man is crazy. Something is off that is pretty clear to me.
