Where are sex offenders generally sent in OK? How are they treated?
I’m currently learning about the OK prison system. Where are SOs generally sent in OK? I’m mostly meaning lower level/non contact offenders, I know serial rapists are sent to max. How are SOs treated in OK prisons?

Here's a link to Oklahoma's Systems of Incarceration policy statement. It doesn't match available prison designations with inmate "level determinations", but says that most OK prisons are only assigned one level (1 to 4). So once he knows his level, it will limit the possible prisons where they can be sent to. http://doc.ok.gov/Websites/doc/image...y/op060107.pdf
and "2014 Oklahoma Statutes: Title 57. Prisons and Reformatories §57-582.5. Sex offender level assignment committee – Requirements to override or increase level assignment – Release of records." https://law.justia.com/codes/oklahom...tion-57-582.5/

S.O., can be sent anywhere in Oklahoma, No certain prison for just SO's . From what I've heard they are not welcome in most. Just the word SO makes them a target. If this person runs into trouble , Hopefully not they can always go to PC unit Protective housing. Best of luck.
