Default Access Securepak Quarterly Packages

It started January 1. I'm not sure how long you can order. But for the food program it is only 1 package per inmate with a maximum amount of $125. There is a $4.95 fee that is not included in the $125.

www.kentuckypackages.com

Click on Kentucky, then choose CD, food or property program. I'm not so sure if the CD or property ones work yet though.

Happy Shopping!!

So once a quarter, you order:

1 food order limited to $125
1 CD order maximum of 10 CDs
1 property order per quarter no limit

I think it's been well received.

The food part actually started last fall.

Property doesn't have a dollar limit but does have a quantity and DOC has approved the stuff there. Personally, I think sweats and tshirts are cheaper at Dollar General and probably even WalMart.

The CD's are more expensive and they claim DOC does not allow the explicit ones so the choice is limited in some genres. They can still order the uncensored ones at the other place Music By Mail and they are cheaper than Access but only the inmates can order from them.

I ordered my penpal friend some new clothes last May. The shipment arrived in a reasonable time period (two weeks) but one of the items was wrong, they had sent sweat shirts instead of sweat pants.

The wrong items were returned, and Access Securepak tried to send the proper items again. Apparently, they were rejected by the prison. The prison never stated why, they just returned the shipment. I suspect that it might have been because the inmate had already received a package and they wouldn't allow a second one.

After that Access Securepak refunded my money on that item.

I thought that the cost was reasonable, the shipping time was good (I am sure some of that time was spent getting through the prison mail room) and they made a good effort to rectify their mistake.

July first I will order up the sweat pants again.

I used the AccessSecure & it went pretty good. I ordered my Son a music CD and a box of various food items; several different snacks (His favorite Doritos), and I tried to think 'what could he use to make a meal' lol, so, I got him tortillas, rice, cheese, chicken.. Figured that might be good? His Aunt ordered him some sweatpants & socks because he said it is freezing in the prison.

They're not supposed to....but! Don't worry about getting him something he doesn't like, he'll most likely trade it to someone for something he does like

Thank you! I ordered a few 'extras' so he can share with his cellie; he's been a friend to my Son so I thought that would be nice.
