Ray Taliferro was a long time radio host in San Francisco. I didnt listen to his show as it was on way too late for me, but heard him on and off at other guest appearances.
It is so sad. I just thought in case its not being broadcast much out there......if anyone sees him......give the local pd a call.
I know its not looking too good after all this time but ya never know.

Yeah I read that I think it was sunday, or sat night.
Seeing alot of posts on fb from his former coworkers.
So very sad. RIP Ray.
The radio station he worked for used to do this 24 hr marathon to raise money for the Lukemia/lymphoma foundation. They would go non stop with zero commercials with talks, interviews, music and sponsors would *match* anyones who called, donation for a certain amount of time.
Ray and one the other hosts would have this gig they would do toward the end.
The KGO music would start to play at the end of the marathon.
Ronn would start to thank everyone and Ray would say...........no!! WE cant stop! We need more!! Ronn would say.....oh its enough, we have already asked everyone to give and they have delivered!
Ray would be like......NO! Its not enough, we need more!!
(I dunno, I thought it was a cute way to end it........)
I forget how much they raised in the yrs they did this show....but it was in the millions!
One of my little customers on my route got to be on the show.
And yes he is doing better now. Cancer free! (he was like 9 when he got ill) I'd see his mom on and off........just a wreck she was.

I heard a short interview on the radio with one of his former coworkers and Ray's son.
Apparently there is alot more to this story.
The autopsy showed some major dementia. It was never reported by his new wife that he had it to police. If she had it would have been better and he might have been found sooner. A Silver Alert could have been put out and a bolo for his car.
It sure sounded fishy to me.
I really feel for his son. The new wife will be burying him in New Jersey. He has zero ties to that state. and the family cant do crap about it.
It sounds ugly.
