my fiance is in Seagoville, Texas but more than likely will be transfered to Beaumont Med. to serve the rest of his sentence.

10 more months.

I just registered. But I have been reading the threads here for a few months. My fiance is at FCI Fort Dix. He was just transferrred there last week. Does anyone have any information as to what to expect from his stay there??

i have never dealt with the FBOP and they are sending my husband 10 hours away to Beaumont Texas.

I have a son in state correctional- can someone tell me what kind of things land you in a federal institute? I know nothing about fed and just was wondering about it. Thank you

To get in a federal prison, you would have to commit a federal felony for an example: transporting drugs across state lines. Or commiting fraud on tax returns... stuff like that.

My boyfriend is supposed to go to FCI Elkton in Elkton, Ohio IF he ever gets transferred.

Mine is in a county jail in Irwin county GA. Then they are suppost to move him to Butner NC FMC. But we will see if they do they are federal and they will send him where ever they want to

From where I sit being in a state facility wpuld be better than in the company of the Feds. At least the light a the end of the tunnel burns a little brighter
