Wish I could be of more help. The only thing I have heard about white collar crime is typically federal charges, maybe I'm wrong though, most of my information comes from my cousin who's been in and out of prison most of his adult life, and he's never been in for white collar crime

speaking for state charges.. yes, they can and are housed with violent offenders. they will class him in alhambra.. most likely a 2/1 making him a low level offender. he will go to 2 yard most likely.. where most are low level offenders or those with violent crimes that have earned the right to be reclassed at a low lever due to good behavior. if he gets in to trouble though, they will reclass him to a higher level and be moved to the yard for the level he has been reclassed to.. example.. rioting ticked can make a low level 2 be reclassed to a 4 and moved to a 4 yard full of violent offenders.. moral of the story... stay out of trouble. DOC does not make it easy to stay out of trouble.. best of luck to you.. ive been doing this for 5 years and am down to 67 days...howla f'n loo ya!!
