He will be his own best (and possibly only) advocate in federal prison. Sick call is held on every weekday, and signing up will at least get him to see the triage person each time he does. Some problems can't be solved at that prison, but will be handled by a completely different medical staff once he is moved.

Federal Cure deals with bop medical issues, so see what they advise.

The Department of Justice's Inspector General investigates violations of regulations by bop staff, but be aware that complaints filed by family members can result in retaliation against the inmate.

Thank you for the links. He has already told me not to tell anyone because it will make his life worse there. He atty is supposed to file a motion to see if he can be moved because his medical needs are not being met there.



I hope it works. he is afraid to file a grievance too because then he won't get any care at all.
