Question Confused! What CAN I wear?

Hi ... I'm visiting my friend on Dr at holman next year. I've read lots of messages advising what you can't wear .... Might be easier to ask the question ... What CAN you wear?

No, it's not easier

You cannot wear white or colors near white; no transparent and no sleeveless t-shirt. No tight-fitting jeans, no open shoes. No jewelry, not even a watch. A wedding band is allowed. To make it short - come conservatively suited, and all will be good!

Thanks ... Can you take spare clothing just in case? I'd hate to get there & be turned away!

I have found that the best thing to wear is regular panties "cause the do check and thongs are not allowed " A regular bra No sports bras , Jeans that fit and not to tight , I always wear a t shirt so they can't say the sleeves are to short or the neck is to low and a pair of closed toe shoes . Don't take anything in with you except your car key ,driver licence and change for the vending machines . I have never been turned away doing these things but I have seen people have to go change and get at the end of the line . Hope this helps ..

So i'm going next week for a visit for the first time and I'm wondering if leggings and/or shoes with laces are a problem, I have so many ideas for outfits but I want to ensure I stay in the prison guidelines and still be cute (if that makes any sense )

I would not wear leggings. Wear comfortable and conservative pants or jeans. Nothing tight. No belt. Nothing low cut. The do check you bra and panties. They will do a rub down. Wear shoes you can slip off easily. They check your shoes and feet. Thee are other fols waiting behind you to get in and unlacing shoes takes time. They will send you out and or deny visitation. The important thing is to get in to see your loved one. Trust me, your loved one will think you look fabulous no matter.

I went to c my bf the 6th of dec. and the disrobed me. I would suggest slacks and a solid top. I wore skinny legs, top, blazer and oxfords there and had to leave and buy more jeans which felt more tight than wht I had on. If u wear a jacket it has to b a suit, my blazer was my splash of color. This was at st clair
