My fiancé was jus re-evaluated and his custody class went from a 3/3 to a 2/3. I’m not sure what this means. Can some one please explain this to me!?

One number is for custody class and one is for internal risk level. The score assessment is a massive algorithm with many many aspects to it. So he was a 3/3 and probably on a medium yard. Now he's a 2/3 and could possibly drop to a minimum yard if he meets several criteria...less than 5 years remaining on sentence, not a sex offender, no felony detainers....also must have bed space available on a minimum yard that doesn't have anyone your LO cannot house with. Or they may keep him at the medium level until he's a 2/2. If he talks to his COIII he may be able to find out information and/or nudge them one way or the other depending on what his goals are.
