Curious..paying bond with pending state charges?

Just out of curiousity.

Lets say someone is in county jail with pending charges. They already know he's illegal, has an immigration hold, but the family ends up posting the bond. I know they don't let them out, but does ICE come? So when ICE comes, what happens? They pick him up? What happens to the state charges? Do they just end up deporting him? Thanks

it is really a case by case deal :/

most of the time the person goes through all of the court proceedings for the state/fed charges if found guilty they do the time and then ICE comes to pick them up after they have finished the sentence. If they are found not guilty or just given probation ICE steps in and takes them immediately.
