Default Pruntytown Visits?

My husband was transferred to Pruntytown a few months back and I will be going to visit him next weekend. I am really excited because I only get to visit once or twice a year due to living so far away. What are the visits like there? Are there vending machines and how much money can you take in? He told me that someone had said you were allowed to get up and walk around. He has been in for 5 years now and we have never been allowed to walk around any visiting room. Just curious as to what to expect.

Pruntytown is the most laid back of all the facilities in the state. I think you will enjoy your visit there.

Good luck!

my fiance is also there and i'm planning a visit sometime in june. hes only like 25 minutes from me but our son has been pretty sick so traveling has been as issue. he told me you can have $10 in change and you can hold hands and play cards during your visit. he also said you have 4 hours of visiting time.

Thanks for the info. I'm really excited about the visit. Every facility he's been in has a different visitation policy and I never know what to expect. This will be our last visit though. His parole hearing is Monday the 4th and if he doesn't make parole he discharged next summer.

I took our daughters to the open house when he was at Huttonsville in 2008. We had a really good time and our older daughter still talks about it. Our younger daughter was only 7 months at the time but my hubby enjoyed the time with us. I'm sure you both will have a great time if you go.
