I dont get how they will do my husbands time las vegas is full of sh** ... He has 16-72 but i dont get why they start on the back number but it would sure help if someone could explain to me how it works. I know nevada is notting like california were they take a percentage off of there time i mean theyre letting people out right to left i mean i know neavda is diffrent but dang do they show them any love... Then my husband talks about the oasis program can someone explain when they can go please...

I heard the Oasis program is shut down or going to shut down because of budget cuts. And no Nevada has no love to show when it comes to inmates once there are in there it seems it can take forever to get them out.
My fiance also got 2 to 5 for assault and battery with bodily harm. if he does programs can he have less than 2 years for parole? i didnt know how that went. they told him hed have to do 40 percent and i was wondering if he does programs to make his sentence less than 5 yrs wouldnt that make his parole be less than 2 yrs too? or would it not? im new so im not sure what to expect nor do i know how thingsgo. hes alrdy been in over 6 mths and hasnt been in trouble. and hes never been in trouble in nv before this.

My husband called me and told me his case worker gave him an experation date for his 2-6 which is year 2015. and his other charge is a 2-5 but with all the programs they offer and if he gets parole im hoping he gets out between 2014-2015. Im praying

my boyfriend got 1-3 and its his first offense on non violent crime.the court wants him to do the 184 drug treatment program in nevada .what is the 184 drug treatment program?
My husband received 12-36. His first time in prison. goes up in front of parole board in July is PED is Oct 28, 2013. I've heard different things from people. I read he's expected to do his min 1 year which is PED oct 28, 2013. ive also heard usually for first time going in front of board you are granted and a month thereafter he would be released? he's at camp, he's completed a couple of programs and he has been working. please help me understand will he or is there any chance of him coming home before that 1 year after seeing board?
