West Virginia Prison & Jail Visitation, Phones, Packages & MailTopics / Information relating to the West Virginia Department of Corrections and local / county Jail visitation, phone calls, mail, inmate care packages, etc.
Wondering if anybody knows what the rules are for sending letters to Tygart Valley Regional Jail. I know some facilities such as in Florida, you can only send a postcard and not an actual letter with an envelope. Also, do we have to write the inmates number on the evelope because they don't give out inmate id numbers on their offender page. Any info that people can give me regarding writing letters and visitiation will be helpful. Thanks!
Go to the wvrj site and go to offender search and his number will be there, if he is a DOC offender this number will change once he is in a DOC facility.
