Question parole/release day

Does anyone know where & what time that they release inmates from prison? My baby gets out the end of April & I was just wondering. Also what is a good motel to stay at close o the prison?

Thank you

Josh'swife27....

Not sure about the time of release. I would call xt. 5708 to get the info. I'm sure someone would be able to direct your call to the right person.. For motels, there is a Travelodge and a Motel 6, in Coalinga about 15-20 min. from PV, that is were most families stay.

Good Luck

I'm pretty sure they can get released early mornings on the weekdays or weekends.

You're welcome. It may seem weird, but its not. I know cause my mans release date falls on a sunday and that is a visiting day, so I thought that was weird. But nope they still release them early in the morning.

Oh yay! So if his release date is on a Sunday, they don't have to wait till Monday to get released? Idk why, I always thought they'd have to get released only on weekdays..... My Husband's release date falls on a Sunday too.

Unless they changed the whole releasing process and I didn't know of it then I'm not sure, but from what I seen in previous years there have been inmates being released early in the morning before visiting hours on the weekends. They release them early in the morning before any visitors enter. I still have a full year before I know if they will release him on sunday or not. What you can do is check with the prison and ask them if they release inmates on weekends just to be sure.

Yes, they run your ID, as if you were visiting inside. You need to have with you proof of car insurance and show them your car registration. (neither should be expired).

You know I really don't. However, I will say this if you are on prison grounds you are subject to getting searched. You are on CDCr property. There is a sign at the entrance as you drive up. My intuition would be yes. You just dont know who will be processing him out what the CO's mood is will he be following procedures to a T or just process him out and ask for the driver's info. My guess is as good as yours.
