Yes I relived my moms life with my dad while I was in my abusive relationship. The only difference was that my father was a provider but in my relationship I was. I stayed because of my disabled son. I felt he needed his daddy to have a stable life but that was a horrible
mistake.

I have to say....I can't imagine what it felt like to go through all of these terrible things that so many of you have went through. I cried reading your stories. I felt so heart broken! My parents didn't even argue in front of us, and they never drank or did drugs. I was raised in church most of my life. I got plenty of whippings for doing wrong, when I deserved it. But I never had bruises or anything like that, and I never got hit anywhere other than my ass. I was never actually scared, or in fear, or had to walk on egg shells or anything.

Anyway...Im just commenting to say...God bless you all...I feel so hurt reading these stories...I actually cried. Sorry for your past, and good luck with your future.
