Default Parole hearing at 1/4 mark instead of 1/2 = Early parole?
My husband (violent crime) is getting a parole hearing at 1/4 mark instead of 1/2 his sentenced. We were told that parole can either do a quarter of his total aggregated time if more than 1 conviction or 1/2 his sentence. Could he possibly get an early release maybe?

Which state? Every state is a tad different, especially parole eligibility / criteria for early release, etc.
