Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Question Need Centralia Help
Im making my first trip to Centralia soon. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the downtown area is safe and if there is a taxi service to the prison. I am taking the Amtrak so I won't have a car and don't want to shell out $80 to drive only a few miles. I am starting to get stressed out about these details..any help is appreciated.

Downtown Centralia is fine. You'll be able to take a cab. You should Google cab companies in the town. Calling them ahead of time to see how much it would cost to and from the prison will help.

Centralia is a decent town. I have co-workers who live there. While it doesn't compare to Chicago or any other large city, the place isn't a ghost town.

Hi wanted to know if u went on the train and took a cab because I live in Chicago and I was thinking to go in train and take a cab please let me know if it's possible.thank you
