Default Marketing Prison Made Products?

Does anyone have any information on marketing horsehair items and bead work from inmates?

I see this was moved becasue it didn't fit other forms. Do they not allow inmates in other states to do horsehair and bead work?

Hi swobby, no I've never heard of any prisons doing that sort of thing but that doesn't mean it's not done. That actually sounds pretty cool!

My guy had a beading permit, but he just got it taken away. As far as marketing their products, they make contracts with people basically who sell their products. But I don't know anyone for horsehair and the people my guy sold his beading stuff to aren't doing it anymore. They actually can make a contract with you so you could sell it out here once you've bought it from them. Like I said, I don't know specific vendors. The prison may though! Lots of people do horsehair and beading so they have to know where the inmates sell their work.

If you're just trying to sell those hand-crafted items yourself, if your person can mail them out to you, you could try selling them on this web-site:

http://www.etsy.com/

They seem to specialize in hand-crafted items.

My son was doing beading in MSP. He would send it to me and I put it on line for him and sold it and then just put his money on his account
