Oklahoma? Probation-Can't leave state without permission?
Has anyone ever left state with permission from PO while STIPULATION TO VIOLATION OF PROBATION (app to revoke) will drop 10/10/2018. PO said she cant leave because of this, But I'd like to see that in writing per law. She would be our nanny for 1 week, with us, in colo, at the cabin.
That's the rules everywhere. Permission is needed from the PO to leave the state. Not just that, when I had to go out-of-state for a family emergency, the PO had me fill out a form that listed the year, make, model & tag # of the vehicle, the address of where I was going (had to look that one up - it was a hospital), etc etc. After the PO signed it, I was given a copy and told to carry it with me (on my person) the entire time I was out-of-state.

mssirois, if it's a condition of probation, it probably isn't codified. It's just normal procedure, because probation/parole will almost always put those conditions on parolees/probationers. And they have a right to do whatever they deem in the best interest of the probationer and whatever minimizes the possibility of problems.

Every jurisdiction in which I have seen a sentence and judgment that included probation included, somewhere, the conditions imposed by the Court.
Leaving the State is very frequently cause for revocation where permission is not granted in advance. Some jurisdictions do not even allow someone to leave the COUNTY! The person on supervision KNOWS their rules of supervision.

I think the issue here is that she has previously violated the terms of her probation and is currently on a diversion program. I take this is what is meant by "will drop 10/10/18." This likely makes her a class of offender referenced int he policy below which states:
"Community offenders (GPS, EMP, PPCS, etc.) are not allowed to travel outside the State of Oklahoma" Section E, page 16.
My guess without the facts is that she is in fact one of those classes of offenders not allowed to travel outside Oklahoma.
