Question Phone access during PFV

Hi ladies i hope this is not a stupid question..but during a pfv I'm assuming my cellphone would have to stay in the locker. What if someone tries to contact me or i have to speak to someone over the phone within the duration of the visit?Do you just go missing for 3 days and cut off all communication??

My man will be starting assessment at RRAC so I haven't applied for a pfv yet but i am very curious how this works. Reading about the process is already making me nervous!

Any type of advice woukd be appreciated as well!

You are right, no cellphone at the PFV, so you will be out of touch. If there is an emergency they can call the jail who will get in touch with you, but there's no phone or online communication at all during a PFV.

There are a lot of rules around PFVs, but I speak from experience in saying they are still well worth the hassle. Hang in there!

Thanks so much for your reply! I wish the rules weren't so strict but at least I know what to expect now
