Default Disciplinary - Positive u/a

Hi,

I am new to this! I apologize in advance haha but I was trying to do some research to find out what kind of disciplinary action takes place when an inmate gets an infraction for a positive u/a?

I could not find this information very well anywhere! And came across this forum and thought id ask.

My child's dad is in prison and we found out this happened and im not aware of what happens to them when they pass dirty!

Thank you for your help in advance.

They get a ticket and privileges taken away. Such as no phone calls and visits.
On the DOC site it tells you the time frame of how long those things are taken away depending on if it’s the first, second or third time.

The possible punishments are listed in Attachment B for the violations described in Attachment A of the AZ Inmate Disciplinary policy.

Yes, they may add a few days. Once they update the DOC site you can search him and it will tell you the updated release date.

Randomly, whenever they want, with or without cause.

Also, if an inmate refuses or is even unable to pee on demand, it's an automatic dirty with the same consequences.
