Default Getting a bed change out of the overflow dayroom beds?Murray Unit TX Prison

I have a friend at the Murray unit who has been housed in the dayroom overflow bed area for over 8 months. These are official 'beds' but are in the dayroom area but given it is in the dayroom they are forced to get up with the first person who is in there in the AM and stay up until the last person is out of there at night. So they are very substandard even though 'official'. It is getting tiresome and will eventually create an issue for her and result in a case. She has tried several people, I've asked very nicely the Major and the head of classification (who ever that is) and neither have helped. At the Warden now and expecting a call back. Not sure other options. I know other people have gotten changes but unsure what they have tried. Would like to think it is a reasonable request and she isn't very needy or made a lot of requests but you never know with TDC as sometimes 'reason' isn't in their vocabulary. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
