Anyone with someone at ECI???

My hubby got transfered from Brockbridge a few days ago...I thibk he went from minimum to medium security. I javent heard from him and im gettin scared. Im new to this site....I dont know why he got tranfered. He only had 5 more months at Brockbridge before he got released. What happens if he caught a charge, will he have to do more time??? PLEASE HELP??!!!

My fiance is at ECI, I can't really answer your question as to why he go transferred but do know that ECI is a medium security facility, so I'm not sure why he would go from min to medium if he's getting ready to come home...you could try to call and ask to speak with his counselor for more info.

Thank you sooo much. I havent heard from him yet. It will be a week on Tuesday since he was moved. Thats totally NOT like him. I have a feeling that something is up. I tried calling and getting info, but they told me that I will have to find out from him why he was moved. Uuugghhh...this is killing me...I just want to know whats going on. What is ECI like? I figure that if he went from min security to med security then something went wrong.

I hope you hear from him soon! I know my Fiance doesn't like it at ECI, says they do things different from other prisons he's been to (he's been in for 12 years) as far as everything else- i know each side takes turns on Fridays being "locked in" I'm not sure why they do this...but they do. They are also no longer allowing inmates to have regular jeans/clothes - they all have to wear the state clothes (plain white shirts), shoes have to be white or grey- no black shoes or shoes with any colors on them. Also as far as visitation, they are strict on what you can wear- pretty much nothing form fitting, no skinny jeans, tight tops. Visitors and inmates are seperated by a concrete half wall, pictures can only be taken with one person sitting in a chair/one standing - no hugging/kissing in pictures. hoping you hear from him soon and find out why he was moved- best wishes to you : )

Wow, are u serious? That just breaks my heart. That will be a big change for Dre. He's not used to being "locked in". Do they have cells or dorms? Dre was used to dorms. I hope to hear from him soon to, I miss his voice very much. I somehow just have to pick up from where I am and move on with life until I hear from him. Ive made myself sick with all this mess. Im all the way in Georgia finishing school, so I cant visit him. I think he was caught with contrband...so hopefully they wont burn him up with too much more time. He should be able to write without a delay. For phone calls he'll need to make a phone list and have money on the account so that could cause a delay.
