I don't understand at all why they would allow you to get married on death row and then no conjugal visits. Seems like if they wanted to disallow conjugal visits, then they would just not allow the whole marriage thing. It makes no sense to me. If they allow one, they should allow the other.

just out of curiousity as i am married allready (and not to anyone on death row or in prison for that matter) on texas death row if you marry someone do you ever get to touch them, or spend time without the glass between you? And are there any women on here who have never touched their husbands- i found that quite astonishing, true true love!

Has anyone married a death row inmate that was located in Florida? Would like information on if we can marry there at the prison or if it has to be by proxy?

An inmate on death row can marry unless there is a legal reason why they cannot,ie they are already legally married.
If the inmate is not allowed contact visits then marriage will not change that. You cannot marry in a prison unless you are on the inmates approved visiting list.

Dwdswifey you need to ask him to contact his case worker or counsellor about the marriage there. He needs to make those enquiries and then you can take it from there.
