CANADA-ON/QC: respectfully seeking LGBTQI prisoners/former for visual story
This posting is a call for participants in a national progressive magazine feature. All details will be fully disclosed to those with legitimate interest in collaborating.
Looking for folks to collaborate with on a photo portrait series focusing on gender identity and sexuality in the Canadian prison system. The series is supported by notes & drawings from those involved.
If you're interested in participating but don't want to have your face clearly shown, we'll work with you with an absolute sensitivity to any privacy concerns.
The project is about the right to self determination and listening to the people photographed, so it is entirely collaborative.
We're not trying to 'give' anyone a voice. This is about creating space for voices to be heard.
If you're interested in participating, send us a short email stating this to (Removed per policy)
Thank you
