I haven't heard from mine in about 36 hours when I talk to him then he said they'd been without power and water for about 12 hours. I know they are keeping them locked down because of the situation but even before they turned off the water in the power they were lock down because only a few guards actually made it to work so those guards are gonna be there for a while I'm hoping I hear from him soon I am worried

I just heard from my husband what they're doing supposedly is rolling blackouts He said his unit has generators that will keep the heat on but they have no water or power for other things. He said that they've been without water for 22 hours , then they will turn it on For about 15 to 20 minutes so you can fill up your water jugs, flush toilets, take a bath in the sink stuff like that but no showers And a been bringing him sack lunches. That's just how it is in his unit I'm not sure how others are doing there's I do feel better knowing that they have heat

I saw generators on Holliday, the Walls, and Hamilton.I think most units have them. They wont freeze. But the conditions are never pleasant when you cant get to chow.My private home was without electricity since Monday at 2 am. The conditions were not pleasant, but I was free so Im happy.
I cooked up a ramen spread with refried beans and Jalepeno in a quart thermos using boiling water like I learned to do at TDCJ. It was good.I needed some chicharones though.
