My fiance is LWOP in Pa but hopefully the bills to offer 2nd chances to deserving lifers gets passed and we can work towards getting him home. He's been in for 19 years now, which is almost half his life. It saddens me that potentially, this wonderful guy has made so many changes to his attitude and demeanor and has changed even more now that he has found me (His words, not me gloating!) won't ever be able to be free again, is awful. #freethemall

My babe was just transferred to USP Victorville, California. He is so far away from me now.

It is an extremely frustrating situation with the BOP -- I'm sorry. It makes no sense to shuffle people around the country like that when they are going to serve out their life in prison. It disrupts stability and community ties, and contributes to stress for everyone.

I 100% agree with you. My love is going to be 49. He has been in since he was 22. He just wants to live out his sentence as peaceful as possible and just get visits. Really? California? I am all the way in Illinois and his family is in New York. It is hard enough to plan a visit when he is driving distance because of all the lovkdowns, now it is nearly impossible with being a flight away.

I met my Lifer love the same way. MWI. Your love must be in State prison since you are blessed with conjugal visits. Federal prisons dont have them kind of visits. Xoxo
