Default The fastest way I located my loved one in prison!

When I didn't hear from my fiance, I called Inmate Records at Alabama Department of Corrections. They told me where he was, I called the warden's office to varify the info, and he wasn't through with processing.
Every state has inmate records at the doc level. Get the main number for your state, and ask for that department. The ask for the state #, but they can look it up by name and give you the info you need. Since the state site update weekly, this is the fastest way I have found to locate someone

Unhappy hopefully this helps

My boyfriend was arrested over Thanksgiving weekend and I don't know where he is. I only have a cell phone so he has not been able to talk to me. I have been searching for him and have had no luck. I am going to use your advice and call the records department, hopefully I will have success. I'll keep you posted. Thanks a lot.

If he is still in COUNTY he will NOT be listed thru the RECORDS dept... that is ONLY for those who are in PRISON (state) not Jail (county) .... the best thing you can do is contact the jail where he is located - he will not be listed in any online inmate locator until he goes to prison which is STATE - hope this helps you some.

Many county jail inmates can be located thru the VINE (victim notification) website for their state, if they have one. I've used it for Kentucky. Good Luck!!
